0:00There's a supernatural love for the people of God that comes along with salvation. Assurance of your salvation is directly tied to the way you relate to other people in the body of Christ. That's what he's saying. Some of you lack assurance because, number one, you don't even want to identify with the church. Some of you don't want to join the church. It's too much work or too much something. Why not be part of us? And then some of you mistreat the body of Christ. You make life and church life about yourself. Yeah, don't think you're going to have assurance of salvation. And let alone, if you don't want to really identify with Christ, you don't really want to identify with his people. Oh, yeah, I like the name Jesus, but I don't like his people. Don't deceive yourself. If you don't want to identify with God's people, you don't want to join them. You'll never get to the point to sacrifice for them. Assurance of salvation is tied to the ministry to the saints.
